Happy birthday Novel Ideas

11th April is the one-year anniversary of Novel Ideas being released, and to celebrate that, the app has been off to a spa for a Hollywood-style makeover.

It works in exactly the same way as the original version, but has a new colour scheme, inspired in fact by the Ideas List colour scheme in Subplot - which was the original inspiration for the app as well.

Novel Ideas version 1.5 is a free update to anyone who has already purchased the app from the iOS App Store.

Update on the update!

The 1.3 version of Subplot is still coming soon - I had a tweak of the Rich Text output for the reports, and also added in the ability to save a copy of the user guide.

There's a problem with Adobe Reader commandeering the Safari browser's ability to show PDF content - it's a known issue, but it stops some users from seeing the Subplot (and some of my other apps) help files.

So there's an easy way of getting hold of the PDF of the user guide now, from the Help menu in the app itself.

Hopefully Subplot 1.3 will get through the review process soon, and then it'll be released.

There's also an update coming for Novel Ideas, which is one year old on the 11th April.
